Lark / Feishu

Connect a Lark or Feishu bot to xiantong

Lark and Feishu use the same platform on different domains: open.larksuite.com and open.feishu.cn. xiantong uses long-connection mode, so no public webhook URL is required.

Setup#

Create a custom app, copy App ID and App Secret, enable message scopes, subscribe to im.message.receive_v1, then connect it from Settings → Messaging in xiantong.

First Conversation#

DM the bot, generate a pairing code from a xiantong session, and redeem it in chat.

Capabilities#

  • Rich text replies
  • Interactive cards for approvals
  • Image and file attachments up to 20 MB
  • Group messages when the bot is @mentioned
